Wang, Jinning

Jinning Wang is a Senior Software Engineer at GE Vernova, where he contributes to Grid OS, the industry-leading platform for modern grid orchestration. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in power system optimization and high-performance computing.

Jinning is the lead architect and developer of AMS, a modularized modeling framework for the CURENT Large-scale Testbed. He designed and implemented AMS to bridge the gap between device-level dynamics and system-wide scheduling. Alongside his technical work, he is actively involved in research on energy equity, focusing on translating sociological concepts into technical engineering metrics for a more equitable and affordable energy future.
